Velodrome Field

The Velodrome was Recreativo de Huelva’s first football ground. It was built in 1892 as part of the commemorative activities for the 4th Centenary of the Discovery of America. Located next to the Alameda Sundheim, it hosted football matches, cricket matches and velocipede races, for which a track was installed around the pitch, which eventually gave it its name.
