The Spanish national team in Córdoba

The Spanish men’s national team has played two matches in Córdoba. Their debut in the city was in 2001 with a friendly against Japan (1–0), and they returned in 2024 for a Nations League play-off match, in which they beat Serbia (3–0).

As for the women’s team, Córdoba has hosted six matches: against Scotland in 1998 (4-1), the Netherlands in 1999 (1-1), Austria in 2009 (2-0), Sweden in 2022 (1-1), Switzerland in 2023 (5-0) and Ukraine in 2026 (5-0).
