Sagrada Família

The Sagrada Família is Barcelona’s most iconic landmark and Antoni Gaudí’s most famous work. Construction began in 1882, and Gaudí took over the project a year later, dedicating much of his life to it. The exterior is striking for its towering spires and richly detailed façades, while the interior resembles a spectacular forest of columns illuminated by colourful stained-glass windows. The Nativity Façade and crypt are part of the works by Gaudí that have been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A visit offers the chance to experience a unique piece of architecture, filled with symbolism, intricate details and Gaudí’s extraordinary imagination.
