Colombino Trophy

Since 1965, the Colombino Trophy has been one of the most anticipated moments for fans each season, as it has marked the return of football in Spain after the summer break and allowed the fans to see some of the biggest teams in the world, such as Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Atlético de Madrid, Bayern Munich, Sao Paulo, Benfica, River Plate or Manchester City, among many others, play at the Colombino Stadium, first, and then at the Nuevo Colombino. It’s a summer tournament that was almost a title before titles were up for grabs each season.
