Real Betis, home at La Rosaleda

On 21 April 1996, Real Betis were forced to play away from Seville due to the closure of their stadium and the chosen venue was La Rosaleda. It was the first First Division match at the Malaguista stadium after the creation of Málaga CF and the Betis fans, who travelled en masse, came away with a resounding 5-1 win.
